Uninstall Maclip

If you plan to use your licence on another Mac, deactivate this one first so it doesn't count against your 2 Macs.

Optional: erase your history first

Settings → Danger Zone → Reset All Data & Start Fresh deletes your history and settings. It asks for Touch ID or your password first.

Remove the app and its data

  1. Click the Maclip icon in the menu bar and choose Quit Maclip.
  2. Drag Maclip from Applications to the Trash.
  3. To remove your history, delete ~/Library/Application Support/Maclip. In Finder, press ⇧⌘G and paste the path.
  4. To remove settings, delete ~/Library/Preferences/com.maclip.app.plist.
  5. Open Keychain Access, search for com.maclip.app, and delete the storage and licensing items.
  6. Remove Maclip from System Settings → Privacy & Security → Accessibility.
