Move Maclip to a new Mac
One licence covers up to 2 Macs that you own, and moving it takes a minute.

Activate on a third Mac and the licence moves off the Mac that was activated longest ago, automatically. That Mac is told why the next time it checks in.
Free a Mac yourself
- On the old Mac, open Maclip Settings → License.
- Click Deactivate Mac and confirm.
- On the new Mac, install Maclip and activate with the same key.
Your history stays behind
Clipboard history is encrypted with a key held in that Mac's Keychain, so it cannot be read anywhere else, including by us, and there is no cloud copy. Maclip on the new Mac starts with an empty history.
