My snippets aren't expanding
Snippets expand as soon as you finish typing the abbreviation. If nothing happens, one of these is usually why.

Check these in order
- Expansion is off. Open Snippets in the dashboard and check the banner at the top.
- The snippet is disabled. Select it and turn on Enabled.
- Accessibility access is missing or stale. Snippets need it. Reset it as in Grant Accessibility access.
- You're in a password field or a password manager. Maclip never expands there, on purpose.
- The app is ignored. Apps in Settings → Privacy & Security → Ignored Applications get no expansion.
- The abbreviation is part of a word. An abbreviation that starts with a letter only expands at the start of a word. Starting it with a symbol, such as
;addr, avoids this. - Your trial has ended. Snippets need an active trial or licence.
