New copies aren't showing up
If something you copied is missing from your history, one of these is almost always the reason.

Check these in order
- Incognito Mode is on. The menu bar menu says Incognito Active — Resume Capture. Choose it to resume.
- The app is ignored. Check Settings → Privacy & Security → Ignored Applications.
- It was a password. Items from password managers, or marked concealed, are skipped on purpose.
- Your trial has ended. Maclip stops recording new clips until a licence is active. See How the free trial works.
- Maclip isn't running. Look for the paperclip in the menu bar, and turn on Launch at Login in Settings so it starts with your Mac.
Older clips disappearing
When your history reaches the size you chose, the oldest clips make room for new ones. Pinned clips are always kept. Raise the limit, up to unlimited, in Settings.
