Translate a clip
Maclip uses Apple's translation, the same one behind Translate in the right-click menu, and it runs on your Mac.

Use it
- Select a text clip in the dashboard and choose Translate in its details. For a screenshot with recognised text, choose Translate Extracted Text.
- Apple's translation panel opens. Change the languages if you need to.
- Click Copy Translation to put the result on your clipboard.
- It needs macOS 14.4 or later. On older versions the action isn't shown.
- The first time you use a language, macOS may ask to download it.
